Select a designated

Organization

One of the most important milestones in the Canadian Start-Up Visa Program is choosing the right designated organization (DO) to support your venture. These organizations — incubators, angel groups, and venture capital firms — are authorized by the Canadian government to review your business idea and, if they see potential, issue a Letter of Support (LoS) that is critical for your immigration application.

Why This Step Matters

The designated organization you approach will carefully evaluate your startup’s business plan, market potential, and team capacity. Their support is not only required for the SUV process, but also adds significant credibility to your venture. Selecting the right partner can shape your path to success in Canada.

Our Role in This Step

While we do not act as a designated organization and we do not issue LoS, we help you prepare so that your submission stands out:

Polished Business Plan

Ensuring your plan is complete, compelling, and investor-ready.

MVP & Product Demo

Developing a prototype or demo that demonstrates your concept in action.

Pitch Deck Preparation

Crafting professional, persuasive materials to present to organizations.

Presentation Training

Coaching you to present your startup with confidence and clarity

How You Move Forward

  • 1. Identify the Right DO – You choose whether to apply to an incubator, angel group, or VC, depending on your sector and growth stage.
  • 2. Submit Your Package – Your business plan, MVP, and pitch materials are sent for review.
  • 3. Engage in the Process – You may be invited to meetings or asked for additional information
  • 4. Receive Feedback – Based on their assessment, the DO may issue a Letter of Support (if approved).

Important Note

We are not a designated organization and cannot provide Letters of Support. This step must be managed directly between you and the designated organization. Our role is to ensure your business is fully prepared to maximize your chances of approval.

Final Word

The journey to a successful Canadian startup begins with building the right team. With our guidance, you don’t have to navigate the complexities alone. We’ll help you assemble a capable, well-prepared group that is equipped to move forward in the Startup Visa process and beyond.
